The room was quiet. One could only hear the sniffles of Dahlia as she wiped away her tears from the drama of late. Lying on the bed in their normal positions, Jake decided to switch it, turning around so his head could face Dahlia's.
"I'm sorry I called you an idiot earlier" Dahlia apologized in a shaky tone.
"I'm sorry for all those things I said as well. If it wasn't for me, your grandfather wouldn't have found out about the fire" Jake admitted.
"No, he's right. I shouldn't have kept my secret from him. I deserve everything that happened today...your insults, his words, everything" Dahlia admitted.
"But how did you know about Landon?" Dahlia asked.
"Sky told me that he broke up with you...who's the douchebag anyway?" Jake asked.
"Landon is the school's football captain. We used to be high school sweethearts when we were in grade 11 until I saw him in the bathroom on two girls...one was Holly, and the other was Jade" Dahlia confessed.
"Gotta hurt doesn't it?"
