I returned with Pax back down through the tunnels to the observatory. Before we even reached the double doors to enter, I could already hear the commotion from inside. Hunter growled at them, trying to get them to calm down as I heard glass smashing and several roars. “What the fuck is this? He has been missing for days. We need to get on with this. I need to get back to my pack!” Xantiago grunts out over the other alphas as I look at Pax. He gives me a look that says as I told you so.
