CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE
JONATHAN Point of View
I sat in my chambers, sipping a glass of wine, feeling like I was on top of the world. I had finally succeeded in turning the elders against Tyla and Jessica, making them see my wives as the disobedient and ungrateful ones. I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. I had manipulated the situation perfectly, and now I had the upper hand. I had achieved one more thing, and I needed to mark it on my book of achievement. Reporting first made me the victim, and Tyla and Jessica, the villain. The perfect story I had mapped out was something else that gave me upper hand in the situation. It was late in the evening, and I had not done any other thing aside from celebrating. I started my celebration after I left the meeting room, but decided to spice it up with wine this evening.
