CHAPTER THIRTY EIGHT
JESSICA Point of View
I made my way to Jay's room almost immediately after the meeting. I had returned to my room when the meeting ended and waited for everyone to go back to their resting places before sneaking to Jay's room. I knocked softly on the door, my eyes scanning the corridors for any sign of a human. As soon as he opened the door, I slipped inside and closed it behind me. "We need to talk," I demanded, folding my arms around my breast. Jay raised an eyebrow, but he didn't say anything. He just waited for me to continue. "What you did in the meeting room...," I started, trying to choose my words carefully. "You can't do that again. I don't even want it to repeat." Jay's expression changed.
