TYLA Point of View
I stood in front of my mirror, staring at my reflection. I shouldn't care about my kooks because I was only going to see my dad, but I did. Two days after my argument with Jonathan, I realized I couldn't just keep waiting around for him to come to his senses. I needed to see my father, and I couldn't let Jonathan's controlling behaviour hold me back. I didn't tell my father about the argument or that Jonathan had forbidden me from visiting. I also didn't ask him to come over and visit instead. I had been quiet for the past two days, waiting and hoping that Jonathan would finally come back to his senses.
