Alex shakes his head. I can see helplessness and frustration on his tired face.
“ Her brother passed away. He was the only one she had.” Alex replies with a sigh. So that's what happened.
“ She is messed up.” I comment. The Gina I just saw is not the same Gina I have known since my brother brought her home.
“ I know. I am afraid her mental state will affect her pregnancy.” He expresses his worry. He is right. A pregnant woman should not be emotionally triggered. Losing a brother is putting a toil on her emotional health which can in turn affect her pregnancy.
