The President of Brazil personally invited them to a banquet. He seemed like a relaxed person, but since he had the capability to be the President, there must have been something interesting hidden behind his warm smile. During the dinner, he played the role of the host perfectly and didn't mention a word about Clara's complaints; he even apologize d to Liana.
"My niece is a bit too young and caused some trouble during her visit to the United States, and I would like to apologize on her behalf," Liana smiled lightly.
"President Marques is taking this matter very seriously. We didn't take Miss Marques' offense lightly; otherwise, we wouldn't have personally escorted her back," Liana's words were sharp as she openly declared Clara's actions as an offense, which could be interpreted as an offense to the President.
"I can see why Miss Liana is a descendant of the Delapena Family from the way you behave. Moreover, I heard that your mother spent her childhood in one of Brazil's orphanages?"
