Later that evening, Night and Star walked out of their kindergarten holding hands.
They immediately spotted Aiden waiting at the gate.
“Mr. Lewis!”
Their eyes lit up with joy, and they ran toward him happily.
Night was somewhat reserved, and he stopped a few steps away from Aiden. However, Star was overcome with excitement, and she hugged him. “Mr. Lewis, did you come with Mommy to pick us up?”
