The week had flown by and before she knew it, Renee was heading to the airport. She had packed her bag that Jesse had bought for her. He already had his packed. She still wondered when he had done that as she hadn’t even seen him bring the bag in. He had gotten Nancy to watch Christian while they were gone. The only thing she couldn’t find before they left were the wedding bands. She didn’t ask Jesse if he had seen them because she was too nervous to tell him that they were missing. He hadn’t mentioned them either. She was hoping he wouldn’t notice. She would have to lie and say she forgot them and hope he didn’t get pissed off and ruin this trip.
