Eleanor's POV
A white Roll-Royce Phantom pulled up in front of me after an hour.
To be honest, anytime I see his car, my heart skips a beat.
I couldn't see through his tinted windows. His bodyguard came out of the car and opened the door for me.
The last time I was in his car, things didn't go so well.
“Do you want me to come carry you inside the car? He asked.
I composed myself and got in. I kept my hands on my thighs and sat straight with my back pressed against the seat.
I tried composing myself to act calm, but my heart kept erupting like a volcano.
We drove away from the hospital space and I started to get relaxed.
I saw Michael looking at everything and his expression changed.
“I'm sorry, Mr. Donovan, I needed the sick leave. I had a cold and needed treatment. I will resume work tomorrow, I feel better now.”
“Take your time, don't be in a rush.”
“What about the deduction of salary? I carefully asked.
