Eleanor's POV
The nanny entered the bedroom holding a bucket of honey water, and she saw the kids all over me.
“What are you drinking? She asked.
“Aren't you the one who asked the kids to bring me the honey water? I asked curiously.
She laughed as she realized what had happened.
“The honey water was meant for soaking your feet.”
My stomach lurched as I looked at the cup I was holding, and I fell back to the bed.
“Oh my goodness, I just drank the water meant for feet soaking” I exclaimed.
The kids looked at me with puzzled faces.
“Luckily, it's just honey and peppercorn. It's not harmful.” The nanny said, still laughing as she took the kids out of the room, so I could soak my feet.
After they left, I seized the opportunity to call Ethan.
“Mr. Ethan, I will be there soon. Something urgent came in that I needed to attend to, I will be there in an hour.”
“Alright, just remember there is a meeting at 2 pm.”
“Yes, I do. I will be there before the meeting”.
