I wish I was dead and that my eyes never opened to life but I was so wrong. The strong scent of antiseptic filled my nostrils and I weakly opened my eyes to a strange room, painted in white. I tried to turn my head when a great pain struck me.
Lying still, I closed my eyes as I thought it could relieve the pang.
“Is she dead?” I heard a whimpering voice beside and I snapped my eyes open in an instant. I saw a fragile figure standing by my side though it was blurry I could still decipher who it was with the way she spoke.
“Diane?” I crooked as my throat felt too dry.
“Let me get the doctor.” someone else spoke but I was too surprised to see her here so I didn't see the person.
“Charlotte?” she jumped on me as she cried harder and I whimpered in pain. Shooting up instantly, she looked at me emphatically. “I'm sorry.”
