The moment I heard his name, my soul nearly left my body.
Everyone surged forward, jostling and shifting, suddenly desperate to impress the most terrifying man in the building. One moment I was in view, the next, I was completely swallowed by a wall of eager new recruits all shoving forward to get his attention.
