Chelsey did not expect Shannon to deliver the earrings to her personally.
When she spotted Shannon through the doorbell camera, Chelsey almost could not recognize who she was looking at.
Shannon's face was red and swollen, like a balloon. It was a stark contrast to her former beauty.
Chelsey stood at the door, listening to Shannon yell angrily.
"Do you know who I am? I'm Mr. Yates' girlfriend! How dare you lay your hands on me?"
"This is Mr. Yates' order. We must treat everyone equally, regardless of who they are," the bodyguard replied with a straight face.
Shannon was infuriated. She reluctantly allowed them to search her.
The bodyguards let Shannon through after confirming no dangerous items were on her.
Chelsey then opened the door. However, she showed no intention of inviting Shannon in.
Chelsey's face was devoid of emotion as she stared at Shannon, whose right hand was still in a cast.
