Chelsey's words were like a blade piercing Lucas' heart. It pained him, and it hurt a lot.
He finally understood what she had experienced in the past.
The things he had said to her back then were a hundred times more hurtful than what she told him. It was only natural that she wouldn't forgive him.
Lucas couldn't forgive himself either for what he'd done and said.
"I'm sorry, Chelsey," he apologized earnestly.

"You should promise me that you won't come here anymore."
