Aurora's pov.
I was on the floor, breathless, as I crawled towards the bed. I had never reached this point of death before when I was almost choked by my supposed husband.
I coughed, panting as I tried to get air into my lungs. My neck was filled with red markings due to his strong grip, which was hurting so badly.
My red face and teary eyes showed that I was on the verge of dying. I watched how Lucious glared at Alex after telling him those words, and I wondered what the hell was wrong with him.
"Lucious!" I heard Claire call, and when I tried to see what was going on, I gasped when I heard Alex grumble loudly in pain as Lucious kept on hitting him.
I didn't understand what was going on anymore. The more I tried to figure it out, the more confused I got.
"Lucious stop! It's enough!" Claire could only yell with tears in her eyes when she saw how Alex was going through pain just to save me from the hands of this monster.
