Damon and James stood tall, facing each other, their body language somehow showcasing their strength. This felt like a showdown.
"You found your way, you can find your way out," Damon growled.
"I'm not leaving until I talk to my girlfriend." Carly then appeared at my side, looking scared out of her mind. I felt her hand grab mine. She was freezing. I stepped slightly in front of her.
"She doesn't want to talk to you," I said, "so leave." He looked over at Carly, eyes softening. He was a really good actor.
