I was too shaken up to drive, so I sat in Justin’s passenger seat, leaving my car in the school parking lot. I allowed myself to cry for a few short minutes. I remember what it felt like to loose Angela. She and my father were once my world and then suddenly they weren’t. She was a part of my every day life and I lost her. I had a lifetime of memories while the twins had none. That’s what saddened me. They were looking at me how I looked at Carly. They saw everything that they didn’t have. They were angry, sad, and jealous… Justin said nothing. I didn’t expect him to because there was nothing that he could say to make this better. We both knew it was coming. The truck came to a halt and I was quick to jump out. Justin followed. I stopped at the door, looking back at him. This was as far as he would go.
