“I think you've had enough. I would handle things until I can figure out what I would do with all of these” My grandfather's voice held disappointment that he never bothered to hide even as he tried to hide it by holding his hands out in front of me.
I could still smell it. I could see it, it was so bright that even a blind man could.
“Let me handle it. I am well, I will go home, I will do as you say” I argued from the hospital bed.
“Focus on getting better, your grandfather is right” Logan spoke up before my grandfather did. “You are not strong enough for this yet. I'll make sure your grandfather gets a call if anything happens differently” He added.
“You should listen to your husband” grandfather gave me a peck on the cheek. “You have been through quite enough. Go ahead and rest now, we are going to see you at home, okay?” He was beginning to walk away.
“Grandfather please…” I tried to crawl towards his retreating figure but I didn't move far enough as Logan held me back. M
