By the time Mary got home, it was already evening and the sun had started to set.
She had expected Adonis to be back by now, but she was surprised to see that he was not yet back. She decided to use that opportunity to search his study, she still could not believe that the reason she had come to his house, and the same reason she had always ran around trying to search his study all the time was finally over.
