Carson and Lydia got ready for work in the morning. The children would resume school, but they would be going with their guards.
Wendy was back, and she served as a threat coupled with the other people that might be ready to harm them.
They were presently having breakfast when Ma'am Anny came and whispered something into Carson's ear. Carson's expression turned sour immediately.
“Tell them not to allow her inside; if they dare do it, then they can kiss their jobs goodbye” Carson instructed.

Carson left the dining table and Lydia quickly followed him. They both entered his room and none of them spoke.
