The after-party, in my book, ended on a high note. At least now, I won’t have to worry about all those fake people who only wanted to be friends with me or Sabrina just to get close to Sebastian.
It’s not like he would ever entertain them, but it always bugged me. Finally, that chapter in my life is officially closed, and I can breathe easier.
As I sat at the kitchen table reminiscing about last night, Sebastian approached me with a warm smile, lifting me gently. He took my spot and nestled me comfortably onto his lap.
