“You lied to me?” I screamed.
“How else would I get my hands on you?” he asked me mockingly.
“Kevin, you don’t get to play with people’s lives the way you want. Why don’t you mind your own life and let us live ours? I promise I’ll talk Olivia into destroying your file,” I tried to convince him, hoping I could talk him down.
“And you want me to believe you?” He asked harshly.
“I’m not like you! I don’t lie!” I replied curtly.
“Emily, you’re mine and you’re mine forever, whether you like it,” he continued in a calm tone.
“You can do whatever you want with me, but leave them alone. Don’t touch them, they don’t answer to me,” I replied just as dryly.
