It was an unfamiliar feeling. I didn’t know what it was like to have a father or what it was like to love him. The security I felt in his arms was unparalleled. It was unlike any other hug. I couldn’t compare it to anything. Maybe only the sun’s rays warm you after a cold rain. Even the heartbeat was different. It beat louder, more erratically. And the tears that streamed down my face unceasingly were like a gentle caress.
