Hanan had to stay indoors in the mansion since the whole world thought she was dead. David had prepared everything before hand; he didn't want his workers in the mansion to find out that Hanan was alive. Only Santiago knew she was alive, as well as her parents from the beginning. David and Hanan had brought her parents into their plan; she told them their plans of faking her death, so they needed to play along by pretending to be sorrowful when she was supposedly dead.
David made sure to keep his staff from going to the last floor, where the master bedroom, and a few other rooms, were. He had constructed one of the rooms in the last floor into a living room and kitchen, and had stocked the fridge with plenty of food. He made sure that Hanan had everything she needed since she would not be leaving the floor until they were done dealing with his father and he was behind bars.
