Raven’s POV
I slammed the door shut behind me and leaned against it, breathing hard.
“Kai,” I breathed looking at the thin air.
He was alive. He was here. After everything. After leaving for two fucking years—he just showed up and said hello princess like nothing ever happened.
I tried to breathe slowly but it seemed impossible as anger throbbed through my veins.
“Who the hell does he even think he is? After two years of disappearing he just came back, he should be lucky I let him leave in one piece.
“No Raven,” I let out a deep breath. “He isn't worth it, today is for Fein,” I said, my heart thumping loudly in my chest as I stumbled toward the bed and sat down.
I took in deep breath just like I always did when I was angry and I needed to kill someone but today, killing someone was not what clouded my mind— it was making someone completely disappear from the surface of the earth…Kai.
