I don’t think many have been able to hear the words but the few that are around me are now focusing on me not the ceremony. The King is leaning forwards in his chair as I lower my head. Why have I been so selfish, I don’t deserve him. I couldn’t see who he was before, why would he even still want me now. Now that he has found someone to replace me.
“Carry on Priest.” The Alpha demands, completely dismissing what I have just said. I take a deep breath in, closing my eyes. The room is now spinning around me and the rage is building up inside of me. My hands are rolled into fists and I am ready to punch the Kings lights out.
