To my shock, it seems that my room’s door is broken. The housekeeper reported that they are calling a maintenance staff to check on how they can open the room but apparently, his shift for today was already due about three hours ago, so they are still contacting him.
“Are there other rooms available that she may temporarily use tonight? We’ll just collect her things tomorrow when the staff arrives to open the door. Don’t bother calling him, it’s quite too late.” Dmitri suddenly chimed. I appreciate his compassion for the personnel but I just hope the resort has an extra room for me to use.
“Unfortunately, we are fully booked for the whole week. I’m afraid there won’t be any available room for the time being. We’ll just call the staff and get your room ready to use in a while.” The assisting Manager said that puts me instantly in desolation. Where would I stay now?
I tried keeping my outlook feeling optimistic somehow. For sure the hotel wouldn’t bargain their reputation to let me stay
