"So, Laleh, here's the plan," Leo began, his voice low and conspiratorial. "We kidnap Mia's child. It's the perfect way to get her back to me."
I sat on Alpha Leo's plush couch, trying to look casual but feeling anything but. Alpha Leo, with his imposing presence and sharp eyes, was laying out a plan that sounded like it came straight out of a villain's handbook.
I raised an eyebrow, trying to hide my shock. "Kidnap a baby? That's... bold."
Leo leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with a mix of excitement and madness. "It's more than bold, Laleh. It's brilliant. Mia will have no choice but to return to me."
I shifted uncomfortably. "And, uh, where do I fit into this 'brilliant' plan?"
He grinned, a predator ready to pounce. "You're my inside woman. You get close to Mia, gain her trust, and then... snatch the baby when the time is right."
I chuckled nervously. "You make it sound so easy. 'Snatch the baby.' Like I'm just picking up a loaf of bread from the store."
Leo's grin widened.
