So, there I am, pacing back and forth in the living room like a caged lion with a serious case of irritation. Who does Gabriel think he is, inviting Laleh over without even a courtesy "Hey, heads up, my ex is dropping by"? It's like he signed up for the "How to Make Your Mate Angry 101" course.
I needed to vent, and who better to unleash my frustration on than Kiara? She's seen it all, and she's got that wicked sense of humor that makes even the most infuriating situations bearable.
"Kiara, you won't believe what Gabriel pulled," I blurted out as soon as I found her lounging on the couch.
She raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "Do tell, Mia. Is it a drama, a comedy, or a tragicomedy?"
I sighed. "More like a Gabriel-being-a-clueless-idiot kind of story. Laleh is staying for a couple of days, and he didn't even think to mention it to me!"
Kiara chuckled. "Ah, the classic 'I forgot to inform my mate about my ex coming over' move. Bold strategy, Gabriel."
