They were at the pack hospital.
“Hmmm…” the Alpha King droned, then commented to the spellcaster before him, “What will be done about this bleeding?”
“We have applied all the herbs, King Alpha. Nothing is working,” a frazzled spellcaster from Whitehall replied to his leader and pack Alpha.
“Bring their pack doctor back in,” the King ordered.
The three Whitehall shifters were in a large hospital room where only one patient lay on a stretcher.
Reyland had been rushed into the pack hospital at half past midnight. Byron had already been prepared for them as Jackson had used runes to contact guards who had then relayed the message to the pack doctor.
Lightmoon still had the magic preventing links over any significant distance, but had set up channels for communicating in any emergencies.
