Though earlier Iris had decided to share the truth of her accident or attempt to murder Xander, now when he asked she is not sure if she wants to answer.
Why?
Because she doesn't know how will he react, though he always had been gentle and caring to her from what she had heard of him, he is a very intimidating man and his anger had been on of character she heard a lot from people around her.
And right now she didn't want to burst the beautiful bubble she is in.
She won't be exaggerating if she says that it is one of the best days of her life.
Hell, it is the only best day of her life. And she didn't want to ruin it.
She can feel his eyes on her waiting for her to answer, taking a deep breath she turned and plastered a beautiful smile
"Can we not talk about that night please? " she begged to give him her best puppy dog eyes.
Being with him she has come to know a lot of things about him and one of those is that he can never say no to her puppy dog eyes.
