Summer POV
“As long as your Dad agrees with Marcella there’s nothing I can do,” Ezra said.
“But you’re the Alpha!” Estelle cried.
“And he’s a grown-ass man.” Ezra was right.
Dad didn’t look sick anymore. He looked as commanding and present as ever but I knew deep down that it wasn’t my Dad who kicked me out of his house.
“Forget it, Estelle, we’ll discuss this in the morning,” I said.
She folded her arms and glanced at the house. “Sounds like you’re giving up.”
I knew she wanted a Father, he was so close but yet so far.
“I’m not, I promise but there’s nothing we can do now. He kicked us out.”
She sighed. “Alright.”
We drove Estelle to her motel Ezra and I drove in silence back to his mansion. I couldn’t wrap my head around what happened tonight. I thought my
