As soon as I woke up the next morning, Caspian was up and ready to take me home.
I told him we could do it after work, which was why I was currently waiting for him to come get me. I finished work pretty early today and while Caspian’s home was amazing, I was happy to be out of the house.
I heard a knock on my door before it was pushed open. “Do you still have more work to do?” My new assistant asked. Well, he’d been working alone for almost a month and I shouldn’t be calling him new but I still missed Ava.
I shook my head. “I’m done here. You can go home. I’m just waiting for someone.”
“Are you sure?”
Another thing about him was that he was eager to work. “Yes, see you tomorrow.”
“Alright, ma’am.” He nodded before he turned on his back and left.
As soon as he did, I got a call from Caspian and my face immediately broke into a smile as I picked up the call. “I’m downstairs.” He said as soon as I brought it up to my ear.
