"Grace, where are you?" Selene's voice carries through the surrounding forest. Her two-year-old daughter Grace had disappeared while Selene was preparing dinner. The mother's heartbeats frantically, fear consuming her as she frantically searches for her pup. Selene had turned her back on Grace for just a second, and her adventurous girl had disappeared from sight. Should she call Morgan and Heather or perhaps her mum? The hybrid shakes her head, no it was no use worrying them. Just as she was about to mind link Luke and Toby, the bushes rustle, revealing Liam and Toby carrying a laughing Grace. "Muffin!" Selene sighs in relief, running to her daughter. Liam passes the squirming toddler to her. "MUM!" Grace squeals, pinching Selene's cheeks. "Where did you go?" Selene kisses her head.
"She materialized in my office," Liam answers. "Guess she couldn't wait until I got home." Grace turns to the sapphir
