Regina looked at the skyscrapers that dotted the sky, listening to the blares and beeps of traffic from her hotel in Montevido.
Well, 5 star hotel, because Regina enjoyed the little things. Hotel Sofitel Montevido was a wonder and a beauty. Outside, the casual observer was overwhelmed by the slightly gothic architecture, the smooth white walls, and the innumerable painted glass windows.
Sitting in this bed, with its Egyptian cotton high thread count sheets, and looking at the artistically slanted roof, Regina could almost imagine that the last month had been a nightmare; that she was still in the human world with her mum, back in the lap of luxury where she belonged.
She could tell herself that she was in Uruguay for a business trip to bring some new clients into the firm.
If she closed her eyes and tried, she could almost ignore the noxious scent of omega that wafted from her skin, overpowering the gallons of alpha spray
