From the moment Lisa's wolf began to act restless, I knew there was something wrong. Just that I never knew it was her wolf calling her mate.
Was the goddess kidding me right now? How on earth did she bring another mate for Melissa when I'm still mated to her. She's carrying my child, for goodness’ sake!”
“Xavier, please don't!”
I quickly turned around towards my mate only to see her worried expression. She was worried about him? Why? Would she be worried about a man she just met?
“He's not your mate. I refuse him to be your mate!”
“Xavier, please calm down. Let's talk this through,” Badmos said, coming in between the new mate and I.
“You shouldn't fight. There's an explanation for this,” the witch stated.
“What kind of explanation is it? I'm dying to know?”
“Listen, I just got a revelation. We are all aware that Melissa is a hybrid. And she's the first of her kind. For this reason, she is gifted with two mates, who happen to be a werewolf and a warlock.”
