Aurora's POV
Today I went out with Jade we were taking a walk around the pack and she showed me all of her favorite places.
Alpha Daniel was yet to find out more about the people who attacked me but I had seen how hard he was working.
These days he has been checking up on me like he had promised and I have been trying to keep my distance. It was hard, very hard, there were times when I almost told him that I was in love with him but somehow I held myself back...I think it took everything in me to not tell him that. The thought of having to lie to him made me sick.
But it wouldn't be fair to do that to him or Luna. I noticed how his eyes would linger on my lips longer than usual and the way he would look at me after every conversation. It was as if there was something there, something that would never happen and I couldn't tell if it was all imagining it because I desperately wanted it to happen or if he actually felt something for me...but then again, it doesn’t feel right to tell
