Kelvin led me away from the couple is and Steven’s voice brought my attention to the podium where he stood, his eyes glinting with a strange kind of joy.

“As we all know the reason we were all invited to the welcoming party.” He started. “Thanks to the Moon Goddess who blessed us with a young and elegant Luna. Her name is Emmalyn Raine.” He announced, sending a smile across to me. My heart beat faster against my chest as the attention was now shifted to me now.
Kelvin’s hand snuck around me and a warm shudder ran down my spine. I turned a look at him but there was no sort of expression on his face. I faced the people and managed to pull up a smile. One that did not reach my face.
Steven urged me to come to the podium and I wish I had the access to the pack mind link. I did not know for long I stood in reluctance.
