I was not ready for this. Okay, so I knew that today was the first day of school, but after the concert I guess I slightly forgot. I felt like I was fucking hungover, which for a shifter is damn near impossible. I knew it meant I was exhausted, but damn. I damn near fell out of bed when my alarm went off at six this morning. I thought it was broken as I grabbed it. I rolled over with a groan slamming it down on the damn table. We would have get a new one which I knew Mykayla was not going to be happy about. I reached for Mykayla to pull her against me, but all I found was cold sheets. I cracked open one of my eyes to see if I could see her, but she was nowhere. I did not hear her in our bathroom. I rolled over planning to go back to sleep when I heard screaming. I jumped out of bed throwing open the door as I ran down the hallway.
