“Victoria!” I shouted. But my daughter just ran away from me, giggling like she is the happiest girl in the world.
“Where’s my baby girl?” Vincent said as he pretended not to see her. Victoria tried to stifle her giggles as she tried to hide from her father.
“Do you see her, Mama?” Vincent asked me, winking. I smiled back at him and proceeded to look for our daughter.
“Victoria,” I called out as I bent down and looked for her as well.
My daughter’s giggles are louder now. She was really enjoying this. It’s been four years since we got married. And now we have this bubbly little bundle of joy that my husband never fails to spoil.
“I’m here!” Victoria screamed as she jumped out from behind the couch. And Vincent pretended to be surprised, as our daughter tackled her.
I watched as the two of them rolled all over our carpet with our daughter’s giggles filling our home.
