Ava’s POV
I stared at Arthur, my palm still stinging from the slap I had just given him. My chest rose and fell with every shaky breath, my anger barely contained.
His eyes burned with rage as he turned to glare at Elena.
“How could you?” He growled, through gritted teeth.
“Don't look at her,” I spat, anger flaring up my veins. “Look at me and tell me all that she said was a lie…you knew from the beginning this child would destroy you, didn't you?”
Arthur froze for a while, his eyes flashed with relief but was quickly masked by rage.
“You had no right to tell her, Elena,” Charles snapped. “You have broken his trust.”
