Arthur’s POV
A dull ache throbbed at the back of my skull as my eyes fluttered open. The ceiling above me was familiar. I was in my room.
I turned my head, and the turn made me groan. Sleeping beside me, was Elena. Her long, dark hair fell over her face.
“Elena?” I managed to mutter, my vision blurry due to the excruciating pain in my head.
She shook slightly, her brows furrowing before her eyes snapped open. At first, she looked confused, but the moment she realized that I was awake, her lips curled into a faint smile, her face flickered to relief.
