I looked around for spare slippers because my soles were freezing and my body seemed to be absorbing the cold. Even the hallway of that place was air-conditioned.
Wow. The room was magnificent, and for a minute I thought it'd be so nice to be rich. The huge windows with velvet curtains were screaming that they weren’t as poor as me. Even the furniture looked sensitive to a commoner’s touch. Dayum!
