Thomas was on the balcony, playing with his pet birds. He responded without looking. "I know."
Katie went up to him and pushed the birdcage away. "How are you still in the mood to play with birds?"
Thomas frantically protected the birdcage. "I spent a huge fortune on this bird. Be gentle."
"You …" Katie was speechless. "Yvonne is back. We don't even know how she's going to come after us! If you don't make any preparations, you won't even get to play with your bird soon!"
Thomas snickered condescendingly. "She couldn't bring Jones Jewels down back then. Do you think she'll be able to do it now? Don't forget, she no longer has the Anderson family's support. Even if Miller Jewels is doing well, they're nothing compared to Robinson Jewels. Jones Jewels has their support right now!"
Thomas hung the birdcage and turned around to enter his study. "She's only causing such a huge scene by returning to the country so that she can intimidate us! Has she really gotten to you?"
