“No fucking way!” Carson replied angrily, turning away from the Rogue King. “He has no leverage. Let’s get the fuck out of here,” Carson said, taking my hand to pull me away from the scene in front of me. The King and Queen start to turn away from the Rogue King as well, effectively dismissing him.
“Do not turn your backs on me!!!” the Rogue King raged. “They are alive!” he yelled as he gestured for someone beyond the diner. As we stood there watching the blacked-out SUV pull up to the door, there was a commotion as the Rogues jumped out dragging someone from the vehicle.
