“Hi princess,” Mason called innocently, a wide smile on his lips, like he wasn't the devil that everyone knew. “Missed me?”
Charlene struggled to breathe, her knees getting weaker, almost failing to support her weight. She stepped back, but her fingers were still holding the door, almost digging into the frame.
“Please.. please leave.” She muttered, her lips quivering from fear. This was the same man who took her from the accident scene to his house and almost let her die because of his crazy obsession with her. How did he even know where to find her?
“Leave?” He raised a brow playfully, his gaze turning manic. “But I only just arrived.” He took a step in and she almost folded, a gasp escaping her lips as her heart raced.
“Please leave!” She raised her voice, but her fear could still be perceived.
“I heard you left your baby daddy,” Mason continued casually, his hands buried in the pockets of his big jean pants.
“How the hell did you find out about that?” She mumbled, eyebrows furro
