I left Tara exploring the room, and I went to the home bar and hoped to drown myself in liquor tonight, but as I was about to reach the bottle of whiskey, I changed my mind. I don’t want to have another trouble with her tonight.
What is happening to me?
I scratched my forehead and went to the kitchen. Instead of drinking, I checked on the food she could eat just if she got hungry. I went to my office to pass the time and divert my attention and energy with papers I needed to review. I sat down on my swivel chair, and the sealed brown envelope caught my attention.
