A group of people rushed out of Higurashi Shrine.
The shrine was also brightly lit up on the inside. In fact, there were even sounds of a bell tolling.
Ding-dong, ding-dong, ding-dong!
The ringing went on for nine instances.
Higurashi Shrine wasn’t located far away from the residential areas in Japan. The nine tollings were loud enough to alert the citizens down below.
The sound of a bell tolling woke up countless people who had entered their dreams long ago.
“What happened?”
“It sounds like the bell on Mount Higurashi. It tolled nine times in the middle of the night. Something major has happened!”
“Hurry! Let’s go and see if they need help!”
“Call the cops!”
Suddenly, all the citizens panicked.
