I watched Damian walk away with a little guilt in my heart. He looked so concerned that I almost regretted coming to the factory. He wouldn't say anything about it again which I knew.
All I had to do was wait for him to finish with John which I had a feeling was not happening anytime soon. They were speaking lowly so I couldn't eavesdrop on what they were saying. With the look on Damian's face, I could tell he was not pleased.
I wondered what was going on. Maybe I could ask him later when we walked home. Pulling my eyes away from him, I walked to the lockers to take records of the day's work. The amount of gems had reduced. The workers had also been able to make some rubies so I took note of them.
